Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans for clients with behavioral health needs. This role is crucial in assisting clients in achieving their goals through effective behavioral therapy techniques and support. Priority is given to those who have an RBT certification under the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. Must love children and have a passion for helping them reach their full potential and live happy, healthy and productive lives.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
  • Conduct direct therapy sessions with clients, focusing on skill acquisition, behavior reduction, and socialization.
  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence.
  • Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors accurately.
  • Monitor and manage challenging behaviors using established behavior management techniques.
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency in care plans.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient information.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in behavioral health practices.

Skills:
  • Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques and methodologies.
  • Understanding of Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) relevant to client care.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices.
  • Strong data collection skills for tracking client progress effectively.
  • Ability to develop and implement behavior management strategies.
  • Familiarity with creating and following care plans tailored to individual client needs.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology related to patient care.
  • Experience or knowledge in special education practices is a plus.

Incentives for advancement and pay are available at our center! We are a close knit group of professionals that work together as a team. Pay is dependent upon training, education and level of experience. Pay increases are available. Individuals with no experience will be considered with the right background, but training will be completed at a differential pay rate.
