About the Job
Licensed Professional Counselor (Eating Disorders)
Licensed Professional Counselor — Eating Disorders (LPC or LPC-S)
HV Mental Health & Wellness Center · Highland Village / Lewisville, TX · Full-time · In person

About the role
HV Mental Health & Wellness Center is a multidisciplinary outpatient practice in Lewisville, Texas, led by Dr. Christina Della Nebbia, a licensed psychologist and neuropsychologist with more than twenty years in the community. Under one roof we offer psychological and neuropsychological testing, psychiatric medication management, an ABA center for children with autism, and — new this year — eating-disorder treatment with a registered dietitian on site.

You will start with a full referral list and a dietitian, psychiatric nurse practitioner and psychologists down the hall. This is a clinical role, not a startup: billing, credentialing, scheduling and intake are handled for you.

What you'll do
  • Provide individual therapy for adolescents and adults, with eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, binge-eating disorder, ARFID) as your primary specialty and general outpatient counseling alongside it.
  • Work as part of a treatment team: coordinate care with our in-clinic registered dietitian, our psychiatric nurse practitioner for medication management, and our psychologists for assessment and testing.
  • Carry a caseload of roughly 25-33 client sessions per week once credentialed, with protected time for documentation and care coordination.
  • Help shape the eating-disorder program: intake pathway, level-of-care criteria, family involvement, and referral relationships with higher levels of care.
  • If you hold the LPC-Supervisor designation: supervise an LPC Associate as the program grows.

Who we're looking for
  • Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas (LPC); LPC-S strongly preferred. We will also consider an LMFT or LCSW with the right experience.
  • Two or more years of post-licensure experience treating eating disorders in an outpatient, IOP, PHP or residential setting; training in CBT-E, FBT, DBT or ACT is a plus.
  • Comfortable working alongside dietitians and prescribers and holding a caseload that mixes eating-disorder and general counseling clients.
  • Clear, timely documentation; experience with insurance-based practice.
  • Warmth, directness, and the judgment to know when a client needs a higher level of care.
